Englehart and Area Child Care Centre Now Hiring a Registered Early Childhood Educator

Qualifications
● Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
● Registered and in good standing with the college of ECE
● Current CPR/First Aid certificate
● Current and cleared vulnerable sector check
● Able to work between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:30PM and occasionally evenings and
weekends for training and staff meetings.
● Able to work extra hours as needed.
● 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
● Coordinating and implementation of your assigned program, including planning,
preparing and facilitating all activities.
● Providing a creative, stimulating and safe environment for children.
● Maintaining child/adult ratios
● Orientation and supervision of any students and volunteers assigned to your classroom
and working as a team.
● Assist the supervisor with any responsibilities related to the centre as requested by the
supervisor.
● Flexible to work in all classrooms including the kitchen.

Position Type:  Full-Time position with fully paid benefits.
Start Date:  March 23, 2026 or As soon as possible.
Starting Wage:  $25/hour, 37.5 hours a week.
