Job Overview
Mattagami Security Solutions is seeking qualified and potential personnel for their expansion for security services in New Liskeard, Ontario. Mattagami Security Solutions is a Timmins-based Security agency that specializes in providing physical security at Commercial sites, Industrial sites, Public events and at Mine sites.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
• Detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, ATM area and Inside the banking centre..
• Respond to disturbances and report the disturbances to the authorities.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Assist with banking operations and efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Background in law enforcement or security preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security challenges.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week

Flexible language requirement: French not required

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education: Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
