Secondary Long Term Occasional (LTO) Teacher                                              

Location:                 Timmins - Programs in Alternative and Continuing Education (PACE)

Start date:               As soon as possible  to January 29, 2027 or return of absent employee

Vacancy Details:      0.5 FTE

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

The teacher will be responsible for supporting learners across a variety of subject areas at the Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centre. Responsibilities will include marking P.A.C.E. courses, supporting cooperative education programming, providing guidance related to course selection and career planning, and contributing to the development, review, and revision of existing P.A.C.E. course materials.

Required Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers certification
•  Intermediate/Senior teaching qualifications
• Teachable subjects in Science and Mathematics                                                   

Preferred Qualifications

• Special Education Additional qualification
• Experience teaching a variety of subjects
• Experience using Brightspace

Compensation:   Salary in accordance with the current OSSTF- Secondary Teacher collective agreement Collective Agreement – prorated based on FTE.                                                                               

A1-A2 (Steps 0-11): $58,874 - $100,604                                                                                                   

A3-A4 (Steps 0-11): $66,333 - $120,363
