Compensation & Benefits Information
• Rate of pay ranges from: $29.98 per hour to $35.79 per hour

Job Summary
The Palliative Program Lead works within and creates Community Palliative Care outreach programs via work with other community resources to:
- assess client and family needs based on physical, spiritual, emotional and social care;
- provide information, referrals and advocacy;
- introduce and facilitate volunteer services including respite care;
- assist with facilitation Advance Care Planning; Goals of Care and End of Life discussions
Requirements:
• Diploma in a health related field is required or equivalent related work experience will be considered
• Valid Class “G” Driver’s license
• Health care background an asset
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in related health care field or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, however must travel between Kirkland Lake, Englehart, and New Liskeard on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
• Experience as a volunteer an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including highly developed listening skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Sound Knowledge of community resources
• Computer literate
