Nor-Arc Steel Fabricators requires a Mechanical Engineer & Project Manager.
Position Overview:
Leads mechanical engineering and fabrication projects from concept to completion. Combines engineering design (conveyors, structural platforms, API tanks, pressure piping, etc.) drafting, and project management to ensure successful planning, execution, communication, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design & stamp mechanical / structural systems and prepare required calculations/reports
• Manage projects to meet budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Create 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD/Inventor.
• Supervise drafting staff and review drawings and work orders.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and valid Ontario P.Eng. license
• 3-5 years related experience, preferable within the energy, wood or mining sectors.
• Knowledge of CSA, ASME, API, and OBC standards.
• Asset: fabrication/welding knowledge, structural steel detailing, Inventor proficiency, bilingualism.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Excel, Word; strong communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Salary Range 80,000-100,000. Compensation will reflect qualifications
and experience.
