Nor-Arc Steel Fabricators Requires an Estimator.

Nor-Arc Steel Fabricators is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This role offers challenging, rewarding work with opportunities for skill development and career advancement in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Requirements:
• Proficiency with AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of mechanical and structural design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, French considered an asset
• Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations,
Company Policies and Procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review customer plans and recommend modifications or alternatives
• Collect required information for Project Management and Estimating
• Provide practical problem-solving input as needed
• Meet with customers regarding current and upcoming projects
• Prepare sketches, drawings, and designs (mechanical and structural)
• Perform field measurements
• Coordinate and conduct site visits

Additional Skills:  Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, millwrighting & machining would be an asset.
Salary:  Salary Range – 65,000- 75,000 to commensurate with qualifications and experience
Job Type:  Full Time, Permanent 40-44 hours per week
