Our client, a leader in the logistic industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork and a sense of urgency skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: New Liskeard, ON (Need Local candidates)
Shifts: AM (Mon-Fri 05.30AM to 08.30AM)
Pay rate: $18 per hour

We are looking for candidates who are looking for a permanent part time position as this role starts as as a temporary assignment with Manpower but is intended to be converted to a permanent role directly with Purolator. Once converted to a permanent employee, you will be eligible to several benefits such as extended health, dental, disability benefits as well as retirement savings and pension.

What’s the Job?

• Unloading and sorting freight.
• Preload while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt, Scanning, cubing, reweighting.
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.

What’s Needed?

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Should have a Steel Toed Safety boots/shoes which are CSA Approved
• Should Read French
• And should Know local Street Address Knowledge
• Strong customer focus and communication
• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.
• Reliable and punctual behavior.
